3 Tips for finding the right shade of your foundation

Finding the right color of your foundation can sometimes be as difficult as finding a foundation you actually like. To make it easier for you to find the right shade for you, we have collected our best tips here to make it as easy as possible for you. We also have 10 shades of our foundation so that there is a shade for everyone.

Find your undertone

There are three different undertones:

Warm - Those with a warm undertone have more yellow pigments in their skin tone.

Cool - Those with a cooler undertone have more pink pigment.

Neutral- Those with a neutral undertone have equal amounts of yellow and pink pigments.

We all have different undertones, warm, cool or neutral. There are some tricks to see what undertone you have. An old trick you can use is to check your veins, if they go more in the green direction, you have more yellow pigments than if they go more in the blue direction.

Another trick is to look at which metal you usually like in jewelry, if you prefer silver you usually have a cooler undertone and if you feel most comfortable in gold you usually have a warmer undertone.

To make it easy for you, we have chosen to make most shades of our foundation neutral so that you can use them both if you have a cool or warm undertone.

To match your foundation so that it matches perfectly, it is best to try it on the jawline, then you will see that it matches both the face and the décolleté. It is often good to take a step away from the mirror to see how it matches the body.

Don't forget that you can always mix the different colors if you feel they don't fit perfectly.
