What is a concealer?
A concealer can be used for many things! Cover dark circles under the eyes, unevenness in the skin, contouring and to give a feeling of a lift to the face.
When you are going to use it to cover unevenness, it is preferable to use a concealer that is as close to your own skin tone as possible, and under the eye you should choose a shade lighter than your skin tone. Remember that when covering unevenness, you work from all sides, both from above and below and from the sides for best results.
Some products have an enhanced, corrective effect and are available in different colors that neutralize certain problems. Orange concealer is used to hide dark circles under the eyes.

How do you use concealer?
Concealer is a great product that hides everything you want to hide, like acne, uneven skin tones, and dark circles. But should you use it before or after foundation? It depends on what result you want! It can be used both before and after foundation. A small exception is concealer with color correction such as green, orange or blue color. It's easier to blend in and get a natural look if you apply foundation after concealer. However, if you want to use it to lift your face and contour with it, it is best used after foundation.
Which result you get depends on how you apply the concealer. As in the left eye, you will get a lifting look where the eyes will go more up. On the right eye, you work more on brightening the area under the eye for a more awake look.
Feel free to use a finishing powder if you use liquid concealer and foundation to make your make-up sit. To give that extra glow, add a highlighter, bronzing for a sun-kissed look and a little blush to add color to the cheeks.
Solid or liquid concealer?
Concealer is available in solid or liquid form. Which one is best to use depends on what you like best and what result you are looking for. A liquid concealer works well for the whole face to work with under the eyes, create contouring or cover specific unevenness,
A solid concealer is good for you who need a product that covers as much as possible. Many of the solid concealers are good for you with oily and impure skin, as they often give a matte finish.
Tips for covering dark circles
Often people go straight in with a light concealer to get a awake look, but a light color doesn't necessarily hide dark circles. First use an orange concealer to correct the blue-purple color, then apply a light concealer in a color 1-2 tones lighter than your skin tone.
Use a thin layer of finish powder under the eyes with a damp make-up sponge or a small brush .
